I am a training psychoanalytic psychotherapist with the Site for Contemporary Analysis. I am in professional supervision with a qualified psychoanalytic supervisor, and my practice is informed by the UKCP’s code of ethics. I work in private practice and on a voluntary basis with free clinics.

I graduated with a degree in Philosophy & Literature, where I developed an interest in psychoanalysis. My practice is rooted in classical psychoanalysis but I am not confined to one theoretical school. In this way you could say my practice is integrative (a little Freud, Lacan, Laplanche, Bion, Klein, and even Laing). Ultimately my approach is informed by the patient’s needs. In my other life I work as a writer and a dancer, and I am interested in the body as much as I am in speech. My thinking is also informed by feminist and queer theory, a wealth of which has assisted psychoanalysts in treating patients in ever-evolving social contexts.

Prior to my clinical training, I worked as a volunteer with The Listening Place, providing space for suicidal people and people in crisis to be heard. I have also worked in community-led programs and with advocacy groups, supporting the needs of sex workers and migrants.
